This policy explains what data SEO Blog Writer and this website collect, why, and who processes it. Envoy Soft LLC is responsible for this data. Contact: licenses@envoysoft.me.
What the plugin sends to our server
- When you generate an article or ask for topic suggestions: your license key, site URL and plugin version; the business details from Settings (business name, description, audience or location, services and their links, tone, language and topics to avoid); the keyword or service, target length and any extra instructions; whether you want a featured image; and the titles and URLs of up to 60 published pages and posts on your site, used for internal links.
- When you ask for business details to be suggested from your site: the URL, title and the first 600 characters of the excerpt or text of your home page and up to 19 published pages.
- Once a day, and when you click Check now: your license key, site URL and plugin version, to confirm the subscription.
- When WordPress checks for updates: your license key.
The plugin does not send your users’ or your visitors’ data, and sends page text only in the business-details suggestion described above.
The free preview on this website
When you enter a website address for a preview, our server reads that site’s public pages and asks OpenAI to draft a business profile, topic ideas and a list of likely competitors; if the site blocks us, OpenAI’s web search may be used instead. Competitor domain names (not your details) are sent to Ahrefs to look up their Domain Rating. Only enter a site you own or are allowed to work on. We record the address entered, the date, the result and a one-way coded form of your IP address (not the address itself) to limit how many previews each visitor can run. The plan is kept for 24 hours so you can return to it or take it to checkout. Your browser keeps your unfinished preview for up to 25 minutes in session storage, which is cleared when you close the tab.
What we keep
For each license key we store the site URL, plugin version, subscription status and when we last heard from it, plus the latest business details the plugin sent; each newer request replaces them. For each article, topic or profile request we store the time, site, title, number of AI tokens used and whether it succeeded, which we use for the monthly allowance, cost tracking and support. We also keep a copy of each generated article (text, SEO fields and, when it is small enough, the featured image), so that if your site’s request is interrupted and repeated we can send the same article again instead of charging your allowance twice. IP addresses are used briefly to limit abusive request rates and appear in our standard server logs.
Who processes it
- OpenAI writes the articles, featured images, topic ideas and business profiles from the details above. OpenAI states that data sent through its API is not used to train its models by default. OpenAI processes data in the United States.
- Paddle is our merchant of record. It processes your payment, billing details, taxes and invoices under its own privacy policy, and shares with us your subscription ID, status and email address. We use the email address to send your license key and messages about your subscription.
- Ahrefs receives competitor domain names during a free preview, as described above.
- Our hosting and network providers (our web host, which also sends our emails, and Cloudflare) process technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect this site and our server.
This website
This website uses no analytics or advertising cookies. WordPress sets cookies only for logged-in administrators. The Pricing page loads Paddle’s checkout, which may set cookies needed for payment and fraud prevention.
Why we process it
To provide the service you subscribed to or the preview you asked for (performing our contract with you or taking steps at your request), and for our legitimate interests in preventing abuse, supporting customers and keeping records we are legally required to keep.
How long we keep it
Preview plans are kept for 24 hours. License and usage records, stored business details and article copies are kept while we provide the service to you and afterwards for as long as we need them for support, accounting and our legal obligations. You can ask us to delete them sooner at any time, unless the law requires us to keep them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, or object to how we use it. Email licenses@envoysoft.me. For payment data held by Paddle, you can also contact Paddle directly. You may complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date at the top.
